New Feature Highlights:

• Secure communication across the extended enterprise

• Encrypted e-mails
  Emails sent from the dataroom can be encrypted using an X509 certificate. Users without a certificate will receive a proxy email. Confidential information is protected in the dataroom at all times.
  

• More transparent tracking of your communication
  Different mailboxes (My Inbox, My Outbox, All Messages) help you to maintain a good overview of outgoing and incoming  messages, tasks and other communication items. A status indicator displayed for each message signifies if there is still action required.
  

• Secure presentation of documents on the client

• Supports standard rights management systems
  Brainloop Secure Dataroom 7.0 enables protection and control of Microsoft Office Documents such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and XPS outside the dataroom with an improved and simplified integration of Microsoft Rights Management Services (RMS). The RMS protection can be set as standard for documents that belong to a specific security category, or for the entire dataroom.
  

• Secure display of documents with Brainmark, Microsoft XPS and RMS
  Version 7.0 supports Microsoft XPS, a new format for creating revision-protected documents, as an alternative to PDF for a Brainmarked version of a document with embedded watermarks.  XPS documents can be easily protected by Microsoft RMS.

• Extended Security Categories
  Simplified security categories help with selecting the right set of permissions for an item. The user selects a category for a document or a folder such as “Public” or “Confidential” and the system automatically applies the according permissions such as “Download Brainmarked Document “.

  Version 7.0 includes a new module to efficiently configure and execute Dataroom-specific question & answer processes.  This new module keeps  role profiles and different bidding groups seperate and provides mailboxes, search and reporting features for a more thorough and intuitive process.

• Extended Dataroom Index
  The dataroom index can be structured in a way that allows a systematic and efficient review of the documents within a dealroom. In addition, the dataroom index can be viewed in Excel including links to all documents and configurable statuses (e.g. read/unread).
  

• Reporting
  Specific reports show which bidding groups have downloaded which documents. Project-specific templates provide different charts and formatting options within Excel to display the report results.
