Brainloop Extends Product Portfolio by adding Secure Boardroom and Secure Document Viewer

Brainloop AG has shipped version 6.0 of its award-winning Brainloop Secure Dataroom solution, a highly secure on-demand solution for managing confidential documents across the extended global enterprise. One important highlight of the new version is the "Secure Document Viewer" function, which enables authorized users to view confidential documents without downloading them to their local desktops. Using Brainloop's leading edge watermark technology, the Secure Document Viewer also prevents camera-based attacks. Brainloop thereby now offers end-to-end security for the handling of confidential documents throughout the lifecycle.

The new Secure Document Viewer module provides end-to-end security for confidential MS Office and PDF documents. By rendering the document on the server and a secure transmis-sion to the client using Brainloop's patend-pending image puzzle technology  the document is never transmitted as a whole to the client machine and is never stored in any browser cache. Brainloop has also added a configurable watermark technology that guarantees that the dis-play presentations are personalized, preventing the recipient of a confidential document from transmitting it deliberately or unintentionally and from taking pictures of the screen by using a camera or making a screen shot.

Another new module in the Brainloop product portfolio is the "Secure Boardroom" application that is tailored to meet the specific communications needs of top management. The software allows them to make members of the supervisory and managing boards to create and edit folders for storing confidential documents and to conduct corporate decision-making processes in a secure and documented environment. The boards of public companies thereby achieve important risk-management and compliance objectives.
