Tognum (formerly MTU) chooses Brainloop Dataroom

Munich, October 26, 2006 - The Tognum Group, headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany, deploys Brainloop Secure Boardroom to manage and secure board meeting minutes. Until now the gathering of information for the board's resolutions, the dispatch of minutes and filing took place in paper form or via e-mail. The Secure Boardroom eliminates these unsafe communication practices. From now on, board meetings will be prepared in the Dataroom, and resolutions will be executed during the meeting. Brainloop Secure Dataroom benefits include an efficient meeting management system, a central document repository, which is protected against tampering with documents and any unauthorized forwarding of e-mail attachments.

A two factor mechanism can be used in for strong authentication. Users receive a text message key sent to their mobile phone. Furthermore, every action, like access or change of a document will be automatically recorded. A personalized watermark offers additional protection. The audit trail ensures that all operations in the Dataroom adhere to modern compliance regulations and to the German Corporate Governance Codex.
