Brainloop and Advanced Legal Technologies announce partnership to deliver a secure, web-based document repository for court reporting firms
Munich, September 19, 2007 - Advanced Legal Technologies, LLC, a U.S. legal technology and support services company, and Brainloop, a leading provider of infrastructure and solutions for managing confidential documents, launched a partnership to deliver a highly secure document repository for court reporting and legal services firms.
The repository, based on Brainloop Secure Dataroom, is a web-based safe that allows storing and exchanging confidential files including transcripts, exhibits and other confidential documents. It is fully integrated with Windows and it supports drag-and-drop as well as opening and saving files directly from Microsoft Office. Additionally, Secure Dataroom features a comprehensive audit trail to document every access or action related to a file.
"We have evaluated a number of different solutions, including those from other well-known players. Since security and ease-of-use is equally important for us and our clients, the best option was Brainloop", says Tonie M. Wallace, CEO of Advanced Legal Technologies, LLC. Oliver Gajek, CEO of Brainloop said, "We are excited to work with Advanced Legal Technologies. This partnership enables us to deliver best-in-class on-demand products for court reporting and legal services firms in the United States."
Court reporting firms across the United States have started adopting Brainloop Secure Dataroom.
"We are very excited about this technology. Finally, we can store and deliver our transcripts, exhibits and multimedia files securely. More importantly, because of Brainloop, we are now able to provide a better service for our law firm clients; we can give them total and immediate access to their historical transcripts", says Bekah Soule, Vice President and Certified Court Reporter of Kentuckiana Reporters, LLC, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dennis Brown, President of Professional Reporters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma adds, "Our clients want immediate access to documents at any time from any location and with Brainloop we can provide this. This gives our clients a huge advantage. We have recently experienced the horror of a compromised in-house server-based repository and we don't want to repeat that experience. Since the only thing we needed on our end is a web-browser to implement the secure Brainloop Repository, we were able to dramatically reduce IT costs and complexities as we don't have to manage our in-house systems anymore. With Brainloop Secure Dataroom, we have less IT overhead and much less anxiety".
Sara Flynn, President of Flynn Legal Services in Little Rock, Arkansas particularly likes another benefit. "Finally we don't have to send medical records, financials or confidential information as insecure e-mail attachments. The Dataroom enables us to transmit documents securely, with a documented delivery confirmation."
Brainloop Secure Dataroom is an on-demand service that is hosted in a highly secure data center certified as compliant with ISO 17799. The data center is operated by T-Systems, a sister company of T-Mobile.
