On 1st January 2017, Dr. Eike Schmidt took over the reins as Brainloop’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Previously at MACH AG, he replaces Markus Seyfried, one of Brainloop’s co-founders.
Dr. Schmidt is now a member of the Brainloop board and responsible for the product management and software development areas. He will also lead the company’s service activity, which includes support and operations. He holds a doctorate in computer science and has over 15 years’ industry expertise as well as many years’ experience in the management of midsized software companies. At MACH AG, a software and consulting company specialising in ERP and ECM, he was CTO and headed up the Products division at board level since 2013. Prior to MACH AG, his career also included positions at BOND GmbH & Co KG (now OCLC), ChipVision Design Systems AG and Kuratorium OFFIS e.V.
