Hans Strack-Zimmermann co-founded and was CTO of IXOS Software AG, a leading provider of solutions for the management of eBusiness documents.  Under his leadership IXOS grew from a start-up to a company with offices in 17 countries and over 900 employees. In October 1998 IXOS was the first German software company whose stock was listed on both the Neuer Markt and the NASDAQ stock exchanges. He serves on the boards of update software AG and Utimaco Safeware AG.

Thomas Deutschmann is CEO of update software AG in Vienna. Previously Mr. Deutschmann founded Mybau AG, an internet service provider for the building industry and successfully orchestrated the merger with its English competitor beginning of 2002. Thomas Deutschmann holds a degree in computer sciences and looks back at more than 20 years experience in the IT and software industry. Mr. Deutschmann held management positions in Sales, Business Development and Services at Compaq, Netscape and Sequent Computer Systems.

Dr. Walter received a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Technical Chemistry from Technical University of Munich and conducted research in the field of material science for the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jochen Walter is an experienced manager with over 10 years in consulting and consumer industry at A.T. Kearney and Unilever. Dr. Walter moved to BayTech Venture Capital in 2000. Dr. Walter has joined the Brainloop board in July 2007. He also serves on the board of Open-Xchange Inc. in Tarrytown (NY) and EnOcean GmbH in Unterhaching.

Mr. Wöbker is a seasoned Software and IT Executive with significant international experience at both large companies as well as start-ups, where he has been active as a business angel and early stage investor since 1986. Bernhard began his career as a software engineer with Nixdorf Computer AG, where he held various positions, among them President and CEO of Nixdorf, U.S.A., in charge of building up the company's U.S. operations from scratch. He also held senior positions at Pyramid, NeXT and Versant, and served as an advisor to Warburg Pincus. Mr. Woebker is a member of the board at Collax Inc., Versant Inc., Groove Mobile Inc. and several smaller start-up companies.
